Illustrations
Art has always been my passion since childhood. From school design competitions until now in my career, I've always been drawn to creative expression. When I took Multimedia Arts as a degree, my college journey exposed me to a wide range of skills - from traditional visual techniques to digital illustrations, 3D modeling, and even basic coding. This diverse experience led me to discover the exciting fusion of creativity and technology in UI/UX design.
While design is often seen as problem-solving and art as self-expression, I thrive in the space where the two intersect. My goal is to create beautiful, functional products that not only address user needs but also pleasing on an aesthetic level. This approach allows me to blend practicality with creativity.
One of my favorite parts when designing is adding custom illustrations. These visual elements do more than just enhance the user experience - they also boost readability and engagement. Below are selected spot illustrations I've created and incorporated for a new product launch.
During my college years, I learned vector art, since then I have been exploring from basic design elements and textures to different portraiture styles. Now, I like incorporating these creations into my designs, it can be as complementary elements or as standalone illustrations that play with light and color. I love exploring diverse design styles and integrating them into my work.
Digital painting has been my favorite hobby since high school, when I stumbled upon this magical thing called a pen tablet. No more drawing with a mouse - it was a game-changer! Life got pretty hectic after college as I focused on building my career, but then came the COVID lockdowns. Silver lining? I finally had the chance to dive back into digital art. I created these pieces, and let me tell you, it reignited my love for painting. Bringing ideas to life on a canvas will always be a part of me!
My background in photography and editing allows me to transform people's photos into something extraordinary. By adding elements, adjusting lighting, and incorporating effects, I turn creative concepts into visual reality. I became the go-to photoshop wizard by bringing imagination to life through digital manipulation.
Sketching is where it all began for me - my go-to whenever my mind wanders. During the heydays of Inktober challenges, I'd jump in on days that inspired me, and when time permits, I'd pick up a brush and lose myself in painting. One of my proudest moments was having a piece exhibited in an art showroom. A few years back, I even set up booths at art fairs and sold my work. It was more than just fun; it was truly fulfilling to see others love and appreciate what I do.
